OHWC Board of Directors Nomination and Election
Nominations for the Board of Directors are now open! Nominations for the term October 24, 2011 to the date of the Annual General Meeting (likely October) 2013 must be submitted by July 31, 2011.
Criteria for Nomination:
Individuals can either self-nominate or nominate another individual prior to the closing of nominations. Nominators are asked to check with the person they are nominating as a courtesy.
Candidates must reside or work in Ontario, must demonstrate commitment to advancing workplace health and must confirm organizational permission/commitment to participate. Candidates must be able to commit to attend a minimum of six of the eight yearly meetings (face-to-face and teleconference).
How to Nominate:
Each nominee will submit a short biography and statement of interest (100 words max) describing in particular their background in workplace health and why they wish to be on the Board of the OHWC. This statement might address priorities or issues facing the OHWC, suggestions for new initiatives, strategic partnerships or other pertinent information concerning the future of OHWC.
Multiple nominations may be submitted (i.e., you may nominate more than one person to the OHWC Board of Directors).
